Player-Powered Raffle
Put up one great prize, then turn your whole roster loose selling entries. Each athlete sells to their own network and every entry is credited back to them, so a season-long push far outsells passing a bucket at one game.
Why it works
One donated prize plus 25 athletes each selling to 15-20 people builds a far bigger pot than a single game ever could, and because every entry traces to the player who sold it, the seller leaderboard does the motivating for you.
How to run it
- 1
Line up one prize worth chasing — a smoker, a getaway, courtside seats — ideally donated by a local business for the shout-out.
- 2
Create a Prize Raffle, set your entry prices (a $5 single and a $20 five-pack work well), and set the drawing date.
- 3
Turn on participant selling in the builder so each athlete gets their own share link and every entry they sell is credited to them.
- 4
Kick it off at practice: hand each player their link, set a per-athlete entry goal, and put the seller leaderboard up so it's a friendly race.
- 5
Sell for three to six weeks online and at games, then draw the winner live and let the platform notify them automatically.

Before you run a raffle
Raffles are regulated by state. Sports Supporters only enables raffle sales where your state allows them and requires buyers to be in-state; your org may still need a charitable-gaming registration or license before selling. Confirm your state's rules first.
