Products & Seasonal Strong earner Effort: Medium

Holiday Gift Catalog

Late October through early DecemberBest for: every sport and booster club

Run one focused holiday sale using either Sports Supporters' direct-ship catalog or locally sourced wreaths, poinsettias, greenery, baked goods, and gift bundles. Choose the fulfillment path that fits your volunteers, margin, and deadline.

Why it works

Families are already buying gifts and seasonal goods. A short, deadline-driven catalog redirects that spending to the team, while the choice of direct shipping or local products lets each organization trade convenience for higher local margins.

How to run it

  1. 1

Choose one primary path before launch. Use the direct-ship catalog for no inventory or delivery work, or secure a local supplier for wreaths, poinsettias, greenery, baked goods, or gift bundles with a confirmed margin and delivery date.

  2. 2

Work backward from the holiday. Publish the order deadline, direct-ship cutoff or pickup date, refund policy, and any quantity limits before taking the first payment.

  3. 3

For direct shipping, create a Product Sale and add the Holiday catalog from Our Product Catalog. Remove weak items, set prices from the earnings readout, and place a test order before launch.

  4. 4

For local products, create a Sales by Athlete campaign with clear photos, bundles, inventory or preorder limits, and exact pickup instructions. Athletes personalize their pages and add contacts so Sports Supporters runs the organizer's scheduled outreach automatically; the suggested three-week cadence can be adjusted to the order deadline.

  5. 5

If your supplier supports it, add a clearly priced donate-a-wreath or community-gift option and name the receiving organization before launch.

  6. 6

Close on time. For local orders, reconcile the paid order list against supplier quantities, label everything by buyer, and run one organized pickup window. For direct ship, send the final order-by reminder before the carrier cutoff.
